Lost Planet 3 introduces Jim Peyton, a rig pilot who leaves Earth to take on a hazardous but lucrative contract on E.D.N.
The game will allow the players to explore the area openly in a style similar to role-playing games with the ability to talk to non-player characters, get side quests, upgrade equipment and build their own bipedal rigs using items collected during the campaign.
Using mission-based mechanics, players can choose to perform core quests that advance the story, or side quests to help fellow invaders on the planet. This installment is totally different from its previous editions.
Lost Planet 3 is the third installment in this series.
